ZIBRIO proud sponsor of National Senior Games

ZIBRIO is once again a proud sponsor of National Senior Games, presented by Humana, taking place in Ft Lauderdale, Florida 10-23 May 2022.

The National Senior Games and ZIBRIO share a common goal to celebrate health, vitality and fun at every stage of life, and are dedicated to busting old myths about aging and empowering older adults to thrive on their terms.

New this year: in addition to offering free balance screening to all, visitors can learn how to boost their balance with short exercises to stimulate the sensory motor system. ZIBRIO is also debuting their sponsored athlete program, with exceptional athletes competing in a variety of sports and age group levels.

DeEtte Sauer – Swimming

Steve Mendel – Triathlon, Cycling

Kay Seamayer – Basketball

Rick Mendenhall – Pickleball

Susan Goldstraw – Pickleball

Don Drummond – Track

You can read their stories of how participating in sport as an older adult has affected their lives and their health here.

The National Senior Games is the world's largest multi-sport competition for people over 50 years old. Held every 2 years, the Games attracts around 10,000 competitive athletes, all of whom must qualify for their spot at state level competition in non-Games years.

ZIBRIO is on a mission to prevent falls and has developed technology that is 2-4x better than current clinical tools in identifying people at risk for falling long before an actual fall occurs. This allows genuinely personalized intervention across the spectrum of care – from primary care physicians, therapists and older adults themselves. Changes in balance can be difficult to quantify, so the sensitivity of ZIBRIO technology delivers powerful insights to guide users on their road to improvement.
